Cavort

Cavort 是一个动词。形容那种无忧无虑、充满活力的跳跃或玩耍。

  1. Puppies were cavorting on the lawn. (小狗们在草坪上欢跃嬉戏。)
  2. The children cavorted in the waves at the beach. (孩子们在海滩的浪花中嬉戏。)
  3. They were criticized for cavorting with the enemy. (他们因与敌人鬼混/嬉戏而受到批评。)

记:Ca-vort。发音类似“卡沃尔特”。想象一个人在一个“卡车(car)”里“沃特(vort/vault,跳跃)”。或者联想 carousel (旋转木马),在上面玩得很开心。
