Anathema
Anathema 是一个名词。如果某事对你来说是 anathema，意味着你绝对无法接受，甚至感到恶心。
- For someone who loves freedom, the idea of a dictatorship is anathema. (对于热爱自由的人来说，独裁统治的想法是极其令人厌恶的。)
- Violence is anathema to his pacifist beliefs. (暴力与他的和平主义信仰背道而驰。)
- The priest pronounced an anathema against the heretics. (牧师对异教徒宣布了逐出教会的诅咒。)
- 源自希腊语：anatithenai (献给神的东西，后来演变为被神诅咒的东西)。
记：Ana-them-a。想象你对某人（them）说“不” (Ana)，因为他们让你感到恶心。或者记音：俺那贼妈 (幽默记法)，极其讨厌的人。
